KYMATYC Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us, so we do everything possible to protect any information provided to us online. The following policies are meant to help you enjoy the time you spend here.

 

We use the information we collect to improve the content of our Web page and to notify members and prospective members about KYMATYC activities. Our Web server automatically recognizes the domain name and IP addresses of individuals who visit our site. Apart from this information, we collect only the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and any information that an individual volunteers through conference registrations and membership applications. We do not share any personal information we collect with any party except as may be necessary to complete a transaction in the ordinary course of business, or as described below, or as required under an applicable law, or with your concurrent notice and approval.

We understand that although you may want to participate in these activities and membership but may not want us to send you email or postal mail. If you don't want to receive email or postal mail, just let us know, and we won't send it.

 

E-Mail Addresses You may receive periodic e-mail notifications from us about services or upcoming events. If you prefer not to receive e-mail from us, please email the current President and ask to be removed from the emailing list.

 

Postal Addresses If you supply us with your postal address on-line you may receive periodic mailings from us with information about news and upcoming events. If you prefer not to receive such mailings, please email the current President and let us know. Please provide us with your exact name and address, and we will be sure to remove your name from this list. However, if you are a mathematics instructor for KCTCS, you may be included due to their mailing list.

 

Conference List We also produce a list of the names of conference attendees. This list is provided at the conference for the benefit of other conference attendees. If you would prefer that your name not be included, please email the current Secretary-Treasurer when you register or at least two weeks before the conference.
